PhotoProv Comes to Philadelphia Live: Your Photographs Inspire Stories.

Every photograph has a story. Sometimes it’s obvious. Sometimes it’s mysterious. And sometimes… it’s just begging to be turned into an improvised scene on stage.

That’s the magic of PhotoProv, a live show I created years ago in New York City—and now, for the first time ever, the Live Show is coming to Philadelphia and live streaming for everyone else this January 2026.

PhotoProv has taken many forms in NYC, and now it’s evolving again—this time with a brand-new opportunity for the audience: you can submit your own photographs for a chance to be featured in the show.

The photos are the heart of the show and when we were using my photographs, it allowed me to be in collaboration with the improvisors as well as to see my work in a new light.

This time around we are asking you, the audience, to submit the photos rather than using mine. This allows the audience to be in collaboration with the improvisors in a brand new way and to see their photographs tell a new story or inspire a new character. The result is unfolding delight and spontaneous story telling.
